How did you hurt it?/Nurse Dick
Today I lose electricity. It'll happen in around an hour, part way through my morning marathon-call. I'm also up-and-down the stairs taking in deliveries and trying to get a laundry load through. I'll then need to head to the office to continue working for the day.
And the plaster is not drying as fast as we'd hoped for.
The fun never ends.

We tried a couple the port barrel aged was very smooooth and the distillers edition was a punch in the throat. I bought a t shirt…..
We made this mistake (no it wasn't) the other year up in Loch Lomond way when we stopped at a Whisky shop, and I had a few tasters before buying a couple of bottles.Mrs B had to drive back...

Departure day. Ferry cancelled so back to mainland via Kyle of Lochalsh bridge. 8 hour journey ahead of us, weather looking ok.
Oh you get to drive over the Kylie bridge, I should be so lucky, shame they couldn't run the ferry especially for you, but I guess if rough you'd have been spinning around.Safe journey back...
Gud moaneve, all!
This morning has dawned a bit cloudy and dull, but the smiley weathergirl says it's going to stay dry, so I'd better make the most of it.
Yesterday's objective of presenting myself at Exbury Gardens and claiming my membership card went well, although I did encounter a very large pothole on the outward journey. Nothing unusual about hitting potholes these days, although I would have preferred to do so in the Up(!), because that had steel wheels and high-profile tyres, whereas the Golf has factory-option 18" rimz and low-profile tyres, both of which would be expensive to replace if I was paying.
I don't feel like dong anything today, although it's a shame to waste the warmth and dryness, so I'll have to think of something.
Adios!

My apologies, I'd missed out on events of the last day or so, a spot of speed-reading has brought me up to date:
Best wishes to Lady C, hope Dicky can cope with the additional workload. I have been developing a catalyst in my left eye, which doesn't matter too much as I'm right-handed, but at some point it will need to be tasered, or whatever they do these days.
Whisky? Mmmmmm. My lovely daughter-in-law bought me some cut-glass tumblers and some cubes of granite which need to be frozen and then used instead of ice cubes for the purpose of whisky consumption.
And something about Bobbers having some new spanking boots. That's an image which will need a bit of shifting...

I believe mind bleach is available from the Greenfield's shop, but it is kept behind the counter Dermot O'Logical!!
As for the price of whisky these days, one of my favourites, Lagavulin 16yr old, is now around £80 a bottle!!

Little bit of nostalgia.. Pembroke Main Street from the 60's
Shall we play spot the car, because I'm not sure of any except maybe an Austin A35?
The one at the front looks slightly triumph herald-ish but it's not that
Definitely a Herald with a Consul Classic behind. Yes, an A35 or A30 with a Zephyr parked adjacent to it and a Morris Minor in Hat Persoot. Shall we play spot the car, because I'm not sure of any except maybe an Austin A35?
