It’s sports day at junior school here

School said it might drizzle so come to school in sports kit, but bring school uniform in a bag to get changed into if needed

This has sent the Karen’s into a melt down, it’s not fair, they are all going to die if they get wet

Truly truly bizarre

Can only assume she wanted to set him up for 5 years of bullying tbh.

Almost like The Putter. Which if you haven't seen it is a beautiful short film about Sheffield scissor making.

I've just bought a pair of their Kutrite scissors and opted to collect them from their workshop rather than Mr Postman deliver them..

Ooh, I'd love a pair of those for the kitchen. Hate spatchcocking chicken!

Everytime I see that vid, I'm full of both admiration and sadness.

'"We all have access to the weather forecast and we knew this weather was coming....'

So she didn't think for herself and send him to school with a change of clothes?

I played rugby in worse weather than this when I was at school, both me and my parents had the intelligence to work out a change of clothes would be needed.

In this instance, I've some sympathy.

According to the article, they're not allowed to get changed - they spend the day in PE kit when there's a PE lesson. The gym is out of action due to exams, so lesson done outside.

So, could well have been a pretty damned stty situation. Tbh, the school should have just cancelled PE - if they've not got changing rooms/showers, it's not on to expect kids to be soaked through and continue doing academic lessons.

EFA - the Police won't even attempt to catch them.

I was sat at a traffic light with a fully marked up police car behind me. bellend on a Suron went through the red light on his back wheel. Not a flicker from the police, at the next set of lights it was two lanes so I came alongside the police car and asked why they did nothing, she stated they don't even bother chasing them as they wouldn't catch them anyway so it was pointless.

You can bet your life if I had launched away from those lights in a cloud of tyresmoke I would have been pulled and prosecuted.

That's the same argument with Travellers who pitch up in large caravans and pickup trucks in a public car park. Why do the Council not ticket them? (I know it's because of the perceived danger, but you cannot have one rule...)

I was at a set of traffic lights once (at the front) and a police car pulled up next to me in the lane to my left. Driver said : Don't worry about us, we couldn't catch you anyway.

I didn't try it though.

(I wasn't on a Suron).
