Morning you fine upstanding chaps. Home after a long 8.5 hour drive and 2 stops yesterday. We managed a respectful 1200 miles in 5 days and returned with a slow puncture.

It’s Thursday. I have to drop Mrs H off for a haircut then take her to her pre knee op this afternoon and the around to our friends for a computer golf match and chilli con carne.

'Tis disappointingly gloomy down here sur la Mer, morning walking activities might be curtailed by a threatened "band of rain", whatever that is, and possible fundah.

Which might mean that I'll have to do some housework. I'll try to fit some dusting around the slow-motion car crash and Festival of Amnesia which is the Post Office Horizon Inquiry, or creep-fest as it's become in recent days. In other news, I was cruising across the New Forest yesterday, because I can, and one of my favourite choons came on the radio, so I pumped up the volume and enjoyed it to the max. Life occasionally gives you little gifts such as that, it reminds one that it isn't a complete shower of st all the time.
