They’re a total mess. Good to see they’ve kept up the revolving door policy smile

The cancer of football. Poch was way too good for that club.

So much dodginess around that club. Still no idea why the government/ Saudis stepped in. Whole thing stank.

I can see him at Bayern. Poch does fancy a club who sacks a manager on a whim with a hefty payout bonus.

Willkommen Mauricio.

Ok, mates. Stop coughing on your shoes because the window will be slamming open soon.

You have 100M from the Kane money to spend. Choose wisely.

Someone's not been paying attention in Levynomics class. The 100M was actually 95M EUR which was just over 82M in sterling.

Maddison 40M + Van de Ven 35M + Vicario 15M already blows that, before the old trick of signing players we already have in Kulu and Porro.

Better hope that Pink, Pearl Jam and Travis Scott sell out the stadium this summer.

hehe

Good job they let him go as he’d started to make progress, probably makes getting Gallagher easier though!

Stat of the day - including caretakers, Chelsea's next manager will be their 24th since 2000 which is more than there have been Popes since 1722 & at least one of them was a decent keeper.

Take away the 7 years with Ranieri and Mourinho from 2000-2007 and it looks even more ridiculous.

Levy fattening the goose before selling.

Sure, it's going to cost you £3bn and there is £1bn long term debt. So call it £4bn.
But you get to spend £600m on players and immediately transform the club into one that can challenge for all the trophies.
I feel like PiF missed a trick....

Add in the very high probability that if we hadn't sold Kane, we'd have more than likely got top 4 earning us another £40-50m in CL money. Why did we sell him again?

To be fair, since he left, Kane's been showered with trophies.

Does this have a whiff of the fairplay thing about it? Need to balance the books.

if we let him leave on a free then we wouldn't be able to spend on new players without risking losing loads of money and the possibility of a points deduction. As it was Spurs ended up with 80m income that they could spend on new players.

If money were no object and I owned Spurs I would have kept him until his contract ran out. We would have finished fourth at least with champions league money.
