RE: Bucket list supercars | Six of the Best
Discussion
I'm sure any one of them would be great. But... I dont see the point in having one of them if you're only going to do small mileage. The kind of car I really enjoy, is one that I drive a lot because I WANT to drive it. And to never have to worry about what every last mile will do to depreciation curves. What a boring, god-awful way to live that would be.
LFA is so massively over rated IMO. It literally held the Ring record for 2 weeks before the Viper took it. If ring records count for anything and that's debateable the XJ220 held the record for almost a decade with a time that beat the standard LFA 20 years later!
Ignoring all the auto box cars, I'll take the CGT and XJ220

Give me an F10 M5 Compitetion any day………it would absolutely mince most on this list…….you could then swing by iKEA on the way home and throw a couple of wardrobes in the boot!
Are you sure? Which couple of IKEA wardrobes will fit in an F10?cerb4.5lee said:
One of my pet hates with saloons is how poor they are at carrying big stuff. I remember having to transport my lawn mower to a rental place that my missus was living in years ago. I had to mow the lawn there and the bloody lawn mower had to go on the back seat in my E90 330i, because it wouldn't fit in the boot! Saloons are useless at carrying stuff for me.
I found the boot on the 4 series gran coupe infinitely more usable for the odd time I had to chuck something large or odd shaped into it than the saloon that proceeded it. Hatchbacks are the way to go if you don't need the extra size, space and added weight penalty of an estate.cerb4.5lee said:

That was one of the things I always liked about hatchbacks! I only talked myself into my E90 because it was a manual 330i and had the optional split/fold rear seats so I can get things like a set of wheels in it.
6 bucket list super cars - none of the above.
Ferrari 288GTO
Aston Martin V8 Vantage
AC Cobra
McLaren F1
Lamborghini Muira
BMW 507
I can understand some people choosing the Carrera, the Diablo and the XJ220 but the 430, the McLaren and a Lexus - bucket list stuff? really?

All a bit what shal we promote.
No one sensible would take a 430 over a 458 plus letters. No F1, no list. Many other better Lambos than the Diablo, specially when you look under the covers. .
Carrera GT????. 657LT ???? LFA ????

BUT I don't know that matters, the diablo is pure poster car to me, it's a coin-toss if I'd take a Diablo SV or something like an Aventador SV
