What does size matter when it will park itself?

(I've always wondered if anyone actually uses autopark regularly, rather than just as a party trick?)
Na it's a party trick, by the time you've used the old school touch screen to press the arrows and get the space highlighted in the correct position you could've had 3 attempts at parking it already.

So is the fridge tbh, it's cooled by the aircon system which just isn't enough to actually make your drinks cold.
I remeber this on the telly back in a day hehe

They were definitely making it mess up for comedic effect, a bit like what Tesla accused them of when it ran out of battery.

Mine never messed up, but it would only activate if it was absolutely 100% certain there were no objects in the way.

If the gearbox works as it should this could be a bargain.

I'm being a tt, but I can't help associating many American cars with wrong 'uns.
Really? I associate them with kind of Essex/Norfolk folk who are nice people, not dumb, but can't spell.

For me wrong'un cars are:
RS3
Golf R
M140i
Nissan GT-R
Range Rover Sport 4.2 Supercharged
Mercedes C63 6.3L
BMW M4 (specifically with a matte wrap)
This has the makings of a (short) spinoff thread…

Reminds me of one of the TG episodes where I think FF [can't see Harris considering one] had an American muscle car (maybe even a 'vette, or a Trans Am), and Paddy McG said yank tanks always belonged to wrong 'uns particularly in slightly rundown seaside towns. Disclaimer: I may have mixed the characters up but I’m not about to go searching the net to verify - yes details DO matter here wink but not to that extent.

The long list of VAG and souped up chavvy stuff I agree also belong to minor crims or types who just can’t give a f*ck about their or their kin’s behaviour.

Nice spec. MOT history suggests it will need some welding at some point, but most E39s will.

The gearbox should be fine. It is only a 2.8. The mileage is suspicious imho. It was not serviced from 2014 until 2020, but it was sold so who cares now.

Does it have xenons?

Hard to tell.

I think so, they do appear to be domed outward.

There is a headlight level adjust dial off to the left of the steering wheel like my long gone one had (mine was halogen).

Not sure if Xenons of that era had to have auto self adjusting? Or if that is more recent.

Auto levelling on all Xenon-equipped E39s. Pretty sure it was a legal requirement even then.

You can always check the spec using VINwiki to get the vin and a decoder. It's pretty base, just the sports seats and leather over basic SE I think(unless a CD player was an option, not sure)

My last E39 did not have xenons and the extra visibility supposed after eating carrots equalled the candela those standard lamps could muster!

Quite like that. Seems a fair price for a 5.5 W212 with reasonable mileage and good service history.

Good find.

That's the cheapest one I have ever seen. Normally they're 5 figures. Good spot.

The add sparks images of a small trailer being whisked along at a vast rate of knots.

The new grill works well.

Being sold by a snooker player?

Nice motor.

I assumed it was someone who liked their food cooked outside on a charcoal grill…
