Key safes - anything better than Amazon cheapies?
Discussion
It's just taken me less than 5 minutes to pick the combination lock on the key safe that came attached to my house - the only person who knew the code died several years ago. I'd never picked a lock in my life before. It was worryingly easy. (I'd replaced the front doors so the keys inside were useless - I just needed the key safe off.)
Can anyone recommend a key safe I can install in its place which cannot be picked by a complete numbskull?

There are police recommended ones. My Dad has the Supra, can't remember which model but it's very heavy and I wouldn't fancy my chances of getting into it without an angle grinder.
It might take you 5 minutes:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTrQtIijFPw

To be honest the key safe cost more than pretty much most items in the house, and I don't see them breaking in to steal his Steinway Pianola, you can't give the things away. It's really there for emergency access for his carers/paramedics etc.

OP, I think the C500 is a solid key safe, or if you're still worried, you can do what we've done - 2 key safes, both Supra C500s, one sort of on show, one well hidden. If the feckers do manage to get into the first one, that's absolutely fine, because it's a decoy and it's empty. It's the second one that's practically impossible to find which contains the spare keys.

It's doable if you're a skilled, trained lock decoder sat at a desk with good lighting with the keysafe on a table.
The Masterlock ones can be done with your eyes closed (it's actually easier that way).
Just press with a little pressure on the release switch and then rotate through all four of the sliding combinations until you find the digit that's got the most play.
After a bit of practice you can do it within seconds.
