Hi, I'm considering an f01 7series as the next family wagon...from looking around a few places I can't determine if there are roof bars that fit? Occasional roof box or bike transport is needed, and a depressing sign that I'm definitely in my 40's, this would be a determining factor!

Yup; they fit fine and have the necessary fixings in the roof ready for the specific bars etc

Cheaper here via Douglas Park BMW on eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/266334794714?fits=Car+M...

Great car too; would make a superb family waft bus biggrin

Loved my F01 730D SE Luxury; wish I'd never sold it TBH

BMW bars are Thule so worth having a look to see if you can get them cheaper thumbup

And it was Azurite Black. Blue in some lights... Was a lovely car but sold it due to lack of use unfortunately... The project thread is here if you're bored laugh
