Has anyone recently used Rimstock to repair their wheels?

I tried to call them yesterday but their numbers appeared to be unavailable.

I also went to my local 'The Wheel Specialist' who showed me an display example of their work which to be honest looked a bit 'orange peely' - when I asked about the finish he implied it was due to the number of times that 'display' wheel had been refurbed, which didn't quite ring true to me.

PS - I'm in Cheshire so if anyone can recommend a good local wheel company I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

Rimstock, who I guess were the manufactures of your wheels, had to close their business. The pandemic caused great difficulties for them. I understand that their casting process required to be in continuous operation, so the disruption was too much.

Hopefully, others can comment about local refurbishment firms.

Thanks Jon , I was coming to that conclusion - strange that their website is still fully active.

Am I right in thinking that we went on a AM track day together at Spa about 10 years ago???

No it was not me.
I have enjoyed one visit to Spa Francochamps. A wonderful circuit.

Internet says Rimstock bought out of administration, and trading -but IMHO probably at a very low level
