Are there any other spark-plug technologies worth looking at between the cost of standard Nickel tipped plugs and Iridium ones?

Standard plugs on this are Bosch FR7ME

What are you trying to achieve over the standard recommended plugs?

Years ago, I has a 530 that was converted to LPG.

At the time there was conflicting reports of using all manner of expensive plugs and their benefits.

I was told by the installer to completely ignore it all & find the compatible copper/copper NGK plugs & just change them every year.

He backed this up with several downloads explaining the differences between the properties of them all.

Copper was shown to basically be better in all respects apart from longevity, henge the change every year part.

They work out at around 20% of the price of "better" plugs and actually out lasted & performed better than the £20 each plugs I was advised to buy by the alleged internet experts before the installation.

I have always done the same since.
