Hi,

I tend to go to Natraj Balti in Portswood Road but fancy a change, any recommendations?

Thanks.

NASHAA in Eastleigh next to KFC

BEST INDIAN IN THE SOUTHAMPTON/WINCHESTER AREA BAR NONE (including Kuti's etc) !!!

Recomended dish the Hari Mirchi Jhinga Prawns... They are like small lobsters!!!

Only negative is the overly bright restaurant, but if you're only looking a takeaway and for the best food, then I can't rate them high enough.

Kuti's peaked years ago, sadly. Their Oxfrod street and Royal Pier restaurants are both below par considering the price and hype. Can't comment on their Wickham branch.
Veranda in Wickham is my port of call, although it's not quite Southampton.
Poppadum Express is a surpirsingly good eat, considering it's a chain(also in Oxford Street)Also,Jewel in the Crown in Shirley High St is also good, although it's situated in the middle of Beirut...

nono

Sorry been there twice and they were both shocking meals. Would go there again if you paid me.
Chicken cooked in one pan, sauce cooked in another. Only mixed together just before they reach the table. No taste, no flavour

"Would go there again if you paid me"

So you're open to persuasion??!!

Seriously, that's sad to hear, I haven't been for probably close to 18 months and it used to be fine.Ah well, I'll delete it from my curry file...

I really liked Kuti's at Royal Pier both times I have been. I'm also a fan of Rhimjims in Winchester, just off Jewry St. They also have a place in Coldon Common as well I think. Whenever I go to the one in town I'm always staggered by how many staff they seem to have on, its almost like one member of staff per table sometimes!

What's the name of the big new open plan curry house with the upstairs. They have a buffet table. It's between London Road and Bedford place. Have been in twice with a group. Each time restaurant empty but food absolutely awesome.
