How much is the meteorite one in comparison, a few grand?
I wondered what you were waffling on about, so I did a search.Good God that's amazing.
I now vow to stop buying poor mans tat watches and save for a Speedmaster.
I'm a bit skinny, so I reckon I could go with a 'reduced', anyone got one ?

Don't bother with a reduced. The full sized isn't a big watch and in particular has a slim profile, certainly so by comparison to the Carrera.
Reduced price too though ! 6 month old baby and moving house means I won't be diving to intercept the post for a while. I've flipped all the tat that can be flipped too !Stuart said:
Go used? There are plenty of nice ones around and you'd have no trouble finding an immaculate one for the price of a reduced.
... I was thinking used reduced, as in barely scraping 4 figures. Surely you can't get a passable Speedy Pro for a shade over 1000 ? (Please let it be true !)I have a speedy pro and a reduced. There is absolutely no question which to buy - the pro all of the way. IMO the quality of the reduced is very slightly lacking - the finish doesnt seem as good as the pro, the movement is noisier, the crono doesnt re-set as crisply and little things like that.
We paid £1k for the reduced - new from H Samuel in their sale. My Mrs wears it and likes it though, so thats all that matters.
