Personally, I'm fond of a hot cup of tea, an iced pear cider, or a gin-and-tonic (with lime and ice) on a hot day. What do other PHers drink on a hot day to cool down?

Hendrick's gin with cucumber slices and Fevertree low sugar tonic.

Or, Mojito with *lots* of mint.

You mean Perry. Theres no such thing as "Pear Cider" thats just a name made up by faceless drinks companies who make syrup water instead of the real thing (which has been made with pressed pears for hundreds of years and is actually a jolly nice drink at its best enjoyed in a pub served straight from a plastic barrel without ice!)

Something along the lines of this for me please! -

Pear cider = NOT made with perry pears but still made with other pears

Perry = Made with Perry Pears in the perry producing areas of England only.

Haven't tried it with fevertree (nor heard of it for that matter) but I otherwise agree on both counts yes

I like pear cider, but only Kopparberg for some reason, Ice cold and the sunshine = perfection at the minute. Strange, I used to be a big cider drinker, gone off it now... Kopparberg is the only one I like!

Have to say, nice cold Carlsberg Export in the Beer garden in the sun the other day was awesome!

'Perry' is a bit like 'Champagne', it's not really champagne unless the grapes are grown in the Champagne region. Same with perry.

I see the angle but there isn't an area of England called Perry.
