I imagine, given the amount of hillbillies in the area, he will not be able to return to the area.
Some nice mineshafts up on the downs.
What's the betting. 11 years, out in 3.5?
Out in 3.5 without an eye. Hopefully the justice system handed out within the walls of the prison will deal with this scum. Some nice mineshafts up on the downs.

can they do eye transplants these days? if they can then she should have his
I bet she wouldn't want them. But he should have one pulled out whilst he watches with the other eye, the rommoved eye could then be fed to a dog whilst he watches. Then do the next one whilst he listens

Towards the end of the article, it sounds like she was covering for his previous violence towards her. How many warnings did she need?
This seems quite typical. The whole 'battered women' vs 'violence prone women' thing. Some women simply cant/dont want to be helped. Im just glad her kids, who never asked for this, got out of it OK. What a pitiful sentence. I know, it hasn't been announced yet, but who's going to bet I'm wrong?
I don't tend to support the death penalty because it's not really a punishment, on account of the recipient being dead. Life imprisonment isn't a real punishment either, these days, because it just means the kind of life these scum would have on the outside but without any bills to pay. Bring back a couple of Victorian-type prisons and just lock them away, let them fester in their own st without anything more than bread and water twice a day and a cell with a bench and a bucket. That would be the proper punishment and one I'd fully support.

Easy to pass judgement if you're not the one in that situation.I knew someone who was knocked about. Eventually got the Police involved, who basically ticked him off, so guess what? Yep, he beat her harder.
