It suits our needs, is within budget but I MUST have a garage. I don't have the car to go in it yet bur I deperately want a garage for when I have a NICE weekend toy. (I don't want to keep it outside and let everyone see it)

Do you think the converted garage could be turned back into a usable garage? Thanks

Managed to find this from an old listing last time it was sold in 2012... Dimensions are 2.5x2.3m for the study and it also looks like there is some space in front of the study so the garage door still functions as a storage area?...

Most of us don't move very often / incur costs when we do - my advice is find/wait for the right house.
We drew up a criteria list - missus is good at schools, transport, shops, low crime etc - so the only thing I wanted was a decent garage. Took us a year to find the right place, but really please we did. I sometimes drive past houses we were close to 'accepting' and so bloody glad we waited it out for 'the one'.

The house suits our way of living size wise if it had a usable garage... We used to have a house with similar layout and we spent 80% time in the kitchen/living area... It worked really well...
Unfortunately there is no access to the back garden so cant put a garage in the back garden ...
think its best to wait as advised

Understand the build forward comment, but there is nt a lot to be gained by that IMO looks like its only a few feet.
IF this is the house then id be inclined to get rid of the study as has been said but I think your goin have knock the garage down and start again it your wanting to put any type of Ferrari in it.
Which then begs the question if your knocking the garage down why not stick a full extension on the side.

Because his neighbour might not want someone's else's garage on their property. Knock out the wall between the storage area and study and turn it back into a garage the way it was when built. Easy.

Strange boundary line. seein as id be following on from the hedge line.
It is a narrow garage but I reckon the space including the wheelie bin is yours, but beware if building right up to the boundary line as you'll have arguments about how to clean out the gutter if it's on your neighbours land. What about a carport?
The best job someone did after I sold a house was to build a garage half forward and extending sideways across the front door as an enclosed porch

Might be innocent but something is a little strange with that house.
