Hi all, here's a couple of pics of my LCI 320d M sport.

Here is the car when I first got it - excuse the poor phone pics please:

I've just fitted the black BMW Performance grilles and stick on number plate to clean up the front end.

My previous car was a Golf V TDI DSG. Moving over to a RWD BMW shows just how well these cars handle. I love the way it drives, decent performance given the engine displacement and brilliant fuel economy. I was seriously considering a TT TDI but the legroom and boot space made this a much more practical proposition.

Next plans are for some interior mods and a BMW Performance front splitter like this one above:

Cheers

I really like these, very smart, especially the lights. The Coupe shape is lovely, shame about the Cabrio though...

What does 'LCI' mean?

Life Cycle Impulse, which in BMW speak means facelift!

The lights do look really good, they're bi-xenon with corona rings around the outside. The only bit I'm not too fond of are the wing mirrors but these are bigger on all new cars and I believe it is due to EU rules?

I like these BMW's and I like the subtle facelift they did on them. The mods you have made are nice aswell.

Aah, thanks. It's all the LEDs that I love. You're right with the wing mirrors, they're not as nice as they were, but there's not alot that can be done I suppose. Even things like Kia Picantos have huge dumbo ears. hehe

Opinions on a rear number plate surround please? I would like to have a surround/mount of some shape or description as I cannot stand screws in number plates.

Something like this look tacky?

I wouldn't have the M Power ones as I do not like them at all.

I have ordered the following interior parts for the vehicle and will fit them next week. I will then submit some interior pictures too. These are not my images by the way.

Nice, I love BMW steering wheels, really fat rimmed, lovely to hold. There was a white 1-series at the BMW Sunday Service with every BMW Performance extra ever, really niiiice wheel... I sound like I've got some sort of fetish now...

I wouldn't if it was my car.

I think the car is far too classy for it. If it was an E36/46 then maybe!

But hey it's your car and if you want it, get it. The world would be very boring if we all liked the same things smile

I'm leaving the rear plate as it is for now to be honest. The steering wheel insert didn't come - do you like it?

Nice car but then I am slightly biased. I have the same in space grey also but is on a 59 plate so pre LCI & with the 19's.

Just a couple of pictures we snapped at work to show off our new transporter. I'm going to invest in that front splitter and try to get hold of a genuine German number plate surround for the back.

Lovely car, love the black kidney grilles, how about some smoked side indicator lenses to go with the grille?

That looks smart. If it were mine I'd definitely be looking at some pre-LCI door mirrors to get rid of those monstrousities!

Fitted M3 style rear lip spoiler - think it makes a massive difference to the rear.

Considering the smoked side repeaters too.

Looks good, Repeaters should work as they are currently brighter than the headlights and bodywork.
