check out these two..only a minor difference in the front skirty thing...but identical. Interior looks same. Engine less torque in the Virage.

If you think that they look the same, then you need to tune your eyes into 'AM mode'.There are quite a few differences between the two that you have listed. The front (splitters & grill) are different and the back end is different as well.
Now, if you want similar, compare the Virage that you've listed with the new DB9:
Can you tell which is which?
Externally, difference is effectively just the bootlid spoiler - don't think anyone within or outside AM disputes that
Virage was poor marketing - it was meant to replace the DB9 and AM suddenly lost their bottle at dropping the DB9 name but couldn't decide what to do so adopted their typical confusing half ar***d approach that did nothing but cause confusion and damage
Once they realised what the rest of the world recognised in about 30 seconds, DB9 name took on the virage shape
The differences between virage & DB9 are effectively under the skin - new DB9 has later gen chassis which improves handling, weight and new passenger safety laws (how high & far back the engine is) plus the vanquish engine, which has VVT (so for instance can take advantage of higher octane fuel), more torque, etc. Then mildly detuned and understated on paper so it doesn't look too close to the vanquish !!!
PS Just change the para above - initially I said 'virage has later gen chassis' instead of 'new DB9 has'

Virages have asking prices of mid 90s
Just realised huge typo above ! new DB9 has the new chassis, not virage !
New DB9s starting to appear with low mileages 120-130 but you can buy a brand new unregistered one with a few extras for mid 120s i.e. the same money
I thought the virage made the better buy but I have a mate who drove them back to back and decided the differences in the engine to new db9 were significant enough he wanted the latter
Bearing in mind that unless you are BRing it, I personally don't see these as the most hardcore of sports cars, I'm not sure I agree, certainly for the huge cost difference, but that's what makes the world go round !

Now that makes more sense that the newer DB9.2 would be an improvemnt over the VirageNew DB9s starting to appear with low mileages 120-130 but you can buy a brand new unregistered one with a few extras for mid 120s i.e. the same money
