Just got me one. Well, its on order, and will be fitted tomorrow.
I have been running Diablos, but decided to go for a Rosso tire to try and get a bit longer life out of it. Current Diablo has lasted almost 10 months.
Does anyone here use them?
Any experience of them would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I went for Rosso's on my 2007R1 to replace some SC Pro's. I've only used them on the road so far (not track) but they hold up brilliantly. The thing is, any modern tyre is going to be good on the road unless you are going TT kind of speeds yikes They appear to be wearing well which is good.

Got them on my Tuono, done one V wet trackday at Brands and went Bham-Amsterdam-Assen-Amsterdam-Bham , and they still look almost new, they were astounding in the rain at Brands, and have not squared at all even with all that straight line stuff.

I do it myself with a bottle of Halfords silver touch up paint and a small paint brush. Time consuming, but I think it looks really smart. Its something I have done for years.

Pre new rear tire, but shows both front and back done.
You can buy a proprietary "Tire Pen", but they are horrible to use, and the paint shrinks, cracks and falls off after not very long. Another good thing to use is Wilkos radiator enamal.

Please tell me that the toy Oxford chain through the bit of wood in the background of the first pic is only for securing your kids' tricycle?

yikes

I'd have that bust in seconds, never mind a real thief...

yea, no point in spending £100 on chain if all your going to do is attach it to a bit of wood. I bet if someone tripped on that chain it would burst that.
I think you should invest in a ground anchor

I have two locks/chains through supports at the mo, one for each wheel, plus a disk lock, in a garage with one entrance which is an electric door, and a nasty English Bull Terrier.
I have a Terra Force (?) Ground Anchor that I am going to use as soon as the A30 is moved. The Ninja has a Ground Anchor, but the A30 is going against the wall that the R6 is currently against, and the Anchor is going in a big mushroom shaped hole full of concrete and re bar.
Thanks for the good advice though. It is appreciated a great deal.

The ROSSO's are fitted, i've just finished running them in and they feel fantastic.
My route home has a few corners where i was able to test the tyres and see how they compared to my previous ones.
So far i've found out they are very stable at high speeds through corners and on the straight. They hold the line no problem at all and everytime i was mid corner i felt i could have gone a lot faster.

Track day coming up soon

I prefer to be in the Inters but if i cant get a spot in that group i play in the Advanced. I'll have my onboard camera setup for this one.
Last time i was in the advanced group i had the BT014's on and could keep up.

I too have found that the stability of the tire is immense (only have back one. Front tire is still fine. the feedback from it is spot on, and the bite/grip is very confidence inspiring.
Love it. i hope my front wears soon so i can get another!
