No more free PH ads?
Discussion
We're trialling a cheaper (£9.99) premium ad with no free alternative in some makes and models only at present. However the qualification for a free premium ad for forum account holders (which currently applies to all account holders on 1st July 2008, when we introduced a premium ad) will continue to apply.

That's good there are a few of us with last nights incident backed up to attack if you remove such cracking deals. Chrisw666 said:

We'll never remove this, and in fact we'll consider bringing forward the qualification date slightly. I went on record when we introduced the premium ad three years ago as saying this. Frankly, the most interesting cars we carry come from the forum members who qualify for a free ad, and long may that continue.Stuart said:

Any news on the Summer "Prolific Poster" payment though?

We'll ive been a member from before 2008 but it wants to charge me £16 to submit a premium in the race car / karting section?
Edit... So at the top of the "submit" page it explains it needs to be checked before they send me details on how to pay the £16, and then at the bottom of the screen there is a "submit for free" button which I have just used... Seems the system needs improving to make things clearer..

i used to be able to advertise stuff for free, but the system wont let me now, am i missing something somewhere? when did this change?
It changed a few months ago. Unfortunately at the moment your account doesn't qualify you for a free car ad (other things are still free) but the ad will only cost you £9.99.hedgefinder said:
jesus, i've been a member for the last 11 or 12 years?? (although i may have changed my account name when i changed email addresses - I cant remember)
Drop me a PM with any email addresses you may have used to be a member in the past, and I'll happily see if we can find an old account which belongs to you.Gassing Station | Website Feedback | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
