Cool wee motor there fella'.

Had a MKIV Fiesta for my first car and always dreamed of putting a Puma engine in it.

Does it have the Puma gearbox too?

That looks great! Shared my Mum's 1.25 for ages and just upgraded to a Focus because of more commuting. It's definitely not as fun, however, and this must be a riot! Would be sorely tempted if it came up for sale again, although attempting to save for a Type-R of my own (albeit a saloon-shaped one...). Good work OP

These are good little cars.

How do you afford insurance on that though? Must be through the roof! I'm guessing by your name that 1992 is your birth year therefore you are either 19 or 20?

Is it still registered as a 1.6?...scratchchin

Nice little motor. Can't take any road car with a tow strap hanging out of the front of it seriously though, just looks stupid in my opinion, but each to their own and all that.

Very nice OP. Still miss my Puma, that engine is a peach.

Would very much like to try the 1.7 in a mark II Fiesta one day...

This will really not go well for you.

Insurance fraud isn't something to be proud of. If you can't afford to insure it, you can't afford the car.

Ring your insurers and tell them you've modified the car immediately. Oh, and the insurers trawl forums like this for EXACTLY this reason. I sincerely hope you don't have an accident with some poor innocent as you are currently driving uninsured and with an incorrectly taxed vehicle. You may as well not bother paying the insurance at the moment as it won't cover you anyway. Moron.

Imo, you're only a couple of rungs above pike-ee scum. Insure and register your car PROPERLY like the rest of us do.

Hi Ive been on this forum years now but Ive never really posted anything on it just read through readers cars amd classifieds. I thought Id put a few pictures up of my fiesta. Its not as good as all the cars on here but i like it, it drives and handles very well, it will do me until ive saved up for my ep3 civic typr r next year smileI recently put it up for sale had quite a bit of interest its just people dont turn up to view it so i took it off.

It got a puma 1.7 engine in, Full exhaust system miltek manifold and decat, Ive lowered it all around on 60mm springs, Tape ecu with puma map on, raised rev limiter.

Heres a few pics of it.

just gave it a quick wash:

stripped out the rear

Few pictures at modified nationals where i got it dyno'd

machine polished after modified nationals:

Added standard lights got rid of the hurrendous white lights

quick picture after cleaning the engine bay:

repainted the faded steering wheel:

A few months ago me and my friend in his impreza went to snake pass and cat and fiddle, Great day out driving, I used alot of fuel to say the least. But it did show me how well this car did handle. Nearly lost the back end a few times but i was all good fun. Took my slr up and took a few pics the impreza aswell.

Thanks for reading i know its not a usual ph car but i love it
Quoted just in case. wink
