There's a black 911 Turbo S parked up on the A3 in Clapham more often than not when I ride home in the evenings with the number plate PE05CHE.

It's a lovely car, but what the hell is the number plate supposed to be??? I imagine it's owned by some sort of inbred aristocrat with a name like S'bstyn - all the vowels carefully removed so that they can be redeployed in totally unexpected places, such as in the sentence "look at my Peosche".

Anyone else seen any particular duffers recently?

As a Sebastian that owns a 911 I feel compelled to say that my plate is something similar. Means fk all to most people but as I bought the plate when I was 17, it's stuck since smile

he has a nice Porsche, his number plate same something resembling Porsche
what is the problem? is it not good enough because it doesn't say the word exactly, do you think the owner gives a st what you think?
i hate all these thread about people whining about number plates, we live in a country that has st overly complicated bureaucratic rules on number plates, why can't people just live with it

IMO a plate is only st when the letters / numbers are tweaked, stretched, squashed or made to look like something using the suspect placing of bolts, tape, etc.

Saw P15 EAD a couple of days ago, I'd be worried about being stopped for breathalyser tests with that one.

After seeing the PH Lamborghini Murcielago article, I went to the classifieds for a gander and found this;

What the hell was that plate even meant to be originally?
