Im looking at the regs from 2012, presuming not much has changed

I'm looking at class B where the max is 325bhp per ton, and doesn't say any thing on max engine size/type.

How ever it say's in class A that's its for 5.0+

Could some one clear this up for me please

Thanks

5l max engine size, 300 bhp per tonne at the rear wheels smile rules have changed for 2013 with regard to bhp.

I got a 5.3 all alloy LS engine going in,

The power per ton part isn't the problem, its the 5.0 rule

I could destroke it........

The car would be a tweaked road Chim

Cage, slicks, shocks, brakes etc

But still have all the carpet stereo etc

So not a out and out racer, and I think id get embarassed in Class A

Hmmm...5.3 might be a bit much with all that torque.

Exactly

John (and the guys) want you on the grid, so give JR a shout.

Any things possible in DTEC. Not too long ago, they had a GPC car with a £6k Drenth sequential box in it!!!

Thanks guys

I know I would have a cc advantage, but the car will still be road friendly so for that reason I'd expect to be some where at the back, I'm trying to persuade a couple others as well, I will ring him in the week,

I was going to build it as a turbo Ls street/drag bruiser but I'd rather spend it on racing bits

Good work Alex, did that little trip around the paddock give you the bug then? Would be good to see you on the grid, speak to Jason Clegg about turning a Chim into a racer, he's doing some conversions so will have already sourced a number of items eg cage

I just got the thumbs up from Mr Reid, providing it doesn't exceed the bhp per ton limit

Doubt it....

The engine still needs to go in, it will most likely be late this season or next season

We will see biggrin
