Apart from the BBC dressing rooms in the 70's.

Aokigahara Forest in Japan. One place I will not be going, ever. Properly terrifying. Do an image search on it and it is very disturbing.

Where else is properly scary?

Christ!

Dont do an image search if you dont have a strong stomach.

I read an article on it, they have a team of people employed to walk around all day talking people out of suicide.

Bloody hell! I wasn't expecting that! I hope the people who have to walk around A) do it in pairs, and B) Get paid handsomely for it!

If its the suicide forest, Vice did a good short documentary on it. Available on youtube, can't link as I'm at work.

Overtoun Bridge is a bit of weird one and also a popular suicide spot. Except no people have committed suicide there, just lots and lots of dogs.

One place very close to home that I certainly wouldn't fancy spending the night in is any of the now expensive flats in Epsom in what used to be the mental asylums for many years.

The last of these to be renovated and converted (I think) was West Park hospital. The room below (not my photo) is probably well on its way to being some little kid's bedroom by now!

And yes, that is a padded cell. frown I'd be too haunted by the thought of the suffering of previous inhabitants to sleep....

Same here. Some places, no matter how you tart them up, will never escape their past. That room is one of them.

Chillingham castle, great place and a genuinely gory past. Plus the overnight stay and wander around when it's dark thing is freaky with no one around.
