Hi John - good to 'meet' you - had you been in yours, that would have been my first ever proper encounter with another Monaro in the North West (only ever seen one before at Oulton Park on VXR power event (BTCC) last year. Therefore, my first (spotting). Thank you. Hope you get yours up and running soon - the weather's getting better. ;-).

Silver one actually going up for sale tomorrow - my local service specialist is going to list it on their web site so that will save me a world of pain re tyre kickers etc. Hung onto the 2 for 6 months so can't complain - but boy, the misuss can!

Assuming you are local(ish), pm me when you are back on the road and we can wake up Warrington.

I've seen four monaros while out and about bit never been my Ro at the time gutted.

New rad turned up on Thursday so should find time to get it in next week fingers crossed no issues. Hope your loving the 500 mate will meet up sometime.

I spotted you as well pulling onto the retail park off the A49. Well, to be honest I heard you before I saw you! I saw the car parked up and it's looking great. It looks as if we are getting a good little group of monaros around Warrington perhaps we should arrange a meet.

If this thread proves any things it's that a VXR500 is not a stealth car!

Assume you weren't in yours then - actually,I was on my way to Halfords to get a bucket - needed a wash (the car, not me).

It is a bit loud isn't it - my other one (took it to the 'pound' yesterday so that it can find a new home) was much quieter and, to be honest, more pleasurable to be in as a passenger. That said, the SC makes a huge difference to the size of the grin on my face - and the run on is great I find.

As you say though, we might have enough folk up here to have a bit of a convoy (rubber duck and all that).

What will we do without all of those roundabouts the southern folk have got in Milton Keynes to drive around?

Ahh cool, I wasn't far from you last week. Took my lad to Crosby beach for a play on sand etc. Went past Holden Road, wasn't sad enough to stop for a pic but it did cross my mind.

Gary - Is your Tiger white by any chance? If so, I followed you along the coast road one day a couple of months back. Sounded sweet! I can't remember if I was in the Ro at the time.
