I will soon be replacing about 10 6ft by 5ft high waney lap panels, most in good condition. I don't have a massive pickup truck to carry them to the local recycling depot, any suggestions on how to get rid of them?
Many thanks

Freecycle, Gumtree etc. Someone will want them, and if they are in good condition, you might get some money.

I had 15 or so last year that I wanted rid of. Not in great condition but still largely usable.

To be honest I was thinking of buying an incinerator, but my garden is only 7m by 10m garden but my rear and side fence run is 44m :O

so I can burn a lot smile, just afraid of setting the house/garage on fire or killing a few plants!

Chiminea?

Did our fence panels last year. Invited some mates round, food on the bbq, a few beers, and sat around the chiminea chatting and keeping it loaded with the old panels.

Job done!

FFS pistonheads. Why did it take until the fourth reply before fire was suggested? Saw, hammer and fire. Job done.

Saw and hammer? I'm thinking either firemans axe to take them down, then petrol and matches. Or just cut out the middle man and burn them where they stand. Two birds one stone n all that!

I did that! Just lit a fire inside the thing and stood well back.

I get back from work and this is why I love our PHers, they are great bunch biggrin

In my arsenal I possess this filthy piece of kit;
http://www.screwfix.com/p/erbauer-erb373rsp-1100w-...

This is 1.1KW of sawing power wink

and I will buy one of these as well

This should make light work of the fence.

Thanks for all the tips and support!!

Hey I'm all for setting fire to stuff more than the next man, just thought the fumes off this stuff were particularly nasty.

Can't be too bad. A destroyed fence panel or two has been supplying kindling for my (sadly non woodburning stove equipped) fire for some time without me dying. It does go out rather enthusiastically
