Can anyone suggest a good place to get a quality car cover, ideally with the AM logo on it. I am looking to get an indoor one to stop the dust etc., but would prefer one of the 'fitted' varieties...

I just received the genuine AM cover for MY new V12v. Choked a bit on the price (£382 is list IIRC) but super pleased when it arrived - it's superb quality/thickness/weight - guess its the old story you get what you pay for!

My Missus sowed me four sheets together and it covers the car. Looks sh*te but keeps the dust and spider poo off.

Spider poo not such a problem this year for me. I think they have moved out.

I've used them on previous cars and stopped now
I found any dirt left on the car gets into the cover and marks the paint each time you put it on
(try putting one in a washing machine wink )

Always wondered about that. I have a loose fitting generic cover just to keep the dust off in the garage which works well. I have always thought trying to drag a tight fitting cover over anything but a spotless car would be asking for trouble and I certainly don't wash the car after every use!

yep, i think a fitted cover has to be fitted only after a wash and when cooled down.

That's another good point
It also helps seal moisture in as Greoge can confirm wink (though his is outdoors)
I have a dehumidifier in the garage to help dry out the water from the inaccessible parts after a wash or run in the wet, so pointless covering the car with that running hehe

This.

I wash it every time before the cover goes back on.

Oh yes, of course, I forgot to mention the humour (adult and childish), the banter, the craic, all adds up to far too much time sitting here speed reading it all, trying to keep up,,,,,,,which by the way, I promise you I will do when I finally take delivery of my BR'd
