And on a more positive note......

(He says blithely)
What do you like about PH?
I like the genuine humour some people have, it brightens up my day, the cleverness of the Photoshoppers, the folk discussing what was on TV recently and recommending programs and films to watch.
I enjoy the talk of older cars, classics and SOTW as I have no knowledge or interest in new cars whatsoever.
What say you?

The fact it encompasses almost everything, that you end up on here for hours then check back again, and again, and again. It's little obsessing. lol.
The fact that people of all different backgrounds, wealth, job titles etc can chat to each other openly about their cars, no matter if you've a ferrari or a fiesta.

The original, intelligent humour displayed by many.
The wealth of knowledge that is openly shared.
The friends I have made through here- a couple in particular that are genuinely close friends that I consider myself lucky to know, and by god, we have a bloody good laugh.
The diverse tastes in cars- virtually everything catered for (with the exception of stanced stuff of course)
Strangely, I also enjoy posts by the meek, the clueless and the socially inept who seem unable to dress, talk to a member of the opposite sex, or make a decision for themselves without taking advice from the best group of folk online.
Finally....the level of self righteousness and the daily mail brigade who state their outrage at whatever entirely trivial occurrence is 'newsworthy' on that particular day.

Ask any question on some obscure topic and someone, somewhere will know an answer or have an opinion on the subject.
I've even surprised myself on occasion, with knowledge of bits of the world not many people have visited.
I always wonder how many people are actually on here, from what I can gather this started out as a TVR forum which snowballed.I've even surprised myself on occasion, with knowledge of bits of the world not many people have visited.
I'd be interested to know more facts about PH.....
I'd also like to know what the often quoted EFA stands for.....

Wow, just wow! My name in print! If I hadn't undone my shackles with the hairpin I keep up my nose, I wouldn't have escaped just now and run round our cul de sac in my underpants whooping "ph" like a tribal American Indian.PH is an adventure park of helpfulness and great folk. Computers, food, films, photography. Mods aren't too bad either. On their good days...
I love the fact that when you need taking down a peg or two PH will oblige ,when you need a good belly laugh PH will oblige, when you need to know anything about anything PH will oblige and in those deep dark sad times when you just need to let it out you will get sympathy and a virtual arm round the shoulder and a few quite words to ease the pain.
