Just a roll call to see who's down at Wembley this Saturday to see The Boss?

Second time seeing him, saw him when he last played the Emirates about 2008ish I think. Really looking forward to it. First time back at Wembley for anything after seeing the Foos there.

Seen him 3 times, all at Wembley Stadium in the 80's. What a performer! Does he still last for 4 hours??

I'll be there. I think it's my 9th or 10th Bruce gig.. Really looking forward to it. We were at Hyde Park last year which wasn't the best.. terrible sound, pissy rain, plug pulled early, so fingers crossed for a better experience this time.

I am off to see him in Hampden park on the 18th of June, any one else going?

This will be my first Springsteen gig, seriously looking forward to it!

Seeing Springsteen was on my radar but this has crept up on me - I might go to one of his other shows in the UK

The previous setlists don't make see feel like I have to go out and buy a ticket. though.

Im going to Wembley.
I think its my eigth time seeing Bruce. First was at Bramall Lane on the Tunnel of Love tour which was a month shy of 25 years ago yikes
Saw him this time last year at the Etihad and he (and the band) were as good as I've ever seen them before.
That show wasn't far short of 4 hours but its usually a mere 3 1/2 or so nowadays smile

Probably a daft question but is there anywhere decent for a beer near the stadium before the show ?

Just trying to plan my transport... I presume the tube is going to be somewhat sardine like after the gig?

I have been standing at the front at wembley a couple of times (meaning there are thousands of people infront of me by the time I get out)

I found the tube to be pretty reasonable - its a slow walk to the station but it does move.

i wouldn't say it was mega slow but it will prob to take 20-30 minutes to get on a tube.

took a good 40-50 mins when i went to see Springsteen at the O2 and that only holds 25-30% of the people as Wembley.

When I saw the Foos there (which was pretty close to capacity) I went via Tube on the Friday and train on the Saturday. They allowed tube tickets on the train on the Friday leaving from Wembley park. Then on the Saturday they were running almost non-stop trains on the mainline train going from Wembley station.

Belfast in July, can't wait.
Missed him in Dublin last year as the Mrs very inconveniently broke her ankle a couple of weeks before the show

Hampden on Tuesday.

Saw the same show last year at Sunderland and it was really good.

3rd time seeing Springsteen and 2nd time at Hampden.

Sound at Hampden last time was dreadful.

I'm going to see him next Thursday in Coventry.

It'll be the second time I've seen him, first was at Old Trafford in 2008. First one was great so I hope this will be as good if not better.

I'm only 22 so I'm hoping he can tour for a few more years so I can see him more too!

Wow! What a show, what a showman and what a band.

Damn near it 2 1/2 hours of songs, a few awkward pauses in the schedule, some incredibly lucky people in the standing gold circle area and a truly amazing version of Thunder Road. Home in less than an hour which is pretty good going, well organised staff and station procedure.

On a whole a fantastic evening out.

Just a heads up for those in the coming dates, he seems to be doing a couple of songs, then some sign requests then an album all the way through. We got DOTEOT, not my favourite but still great, then the end of the show is just immense!

I'm home too smile

Sound was awful tonight, spoilt it for me. Hoping it'll be better at Olympic Stadium in a couple of weeks.

yeah, will be there, first saw him in Newcastle in 1985, lost count how many times we have seen him since, still the best live act I have ever seen, just hope the weather is better than last time at Hampden or last year in Manchester, you might see me, I will be they grey haired grumpy old git in jeans, complaining at the price of beer in plastic glasses which I will no doubt have to queue up twice for, once to pay, and again to collect the beer which will probably have been poured some time ago and will be like cat pee, thank god the music will be goodsmile

Me too, saw him at Hampden in '09. 50,000 with their hands in the air singing every word. It'll be a long one, but I can guarantee you it'll be a good one! smile
