I'm looking at 30,000 miles on my FJR when I hit the anniversary of buying it in mid- July.

How many miles do you do a yr on 2-wheels.

Just interested, never thought I'd be racking up this kind of mileage.

ZX6r about 1500
KTM about 400
Vespa about 200
KE100 about 15 (usually around half ridden, half pushed)

So a bit less then...

No so many anymore since I'm not doing my previous annual euro touring now. My commute is 13miles total a day only but the bike gets me into central london in 20-25mins from the east. Quite happy to keep the mileage low for a short generally zero hassle commute to work.
I'd say approx only 3000miles now just for commuting maybe another 1000miles for non commuting stuff so 4k annually. Certainly in other years approaching 10k per year no problem.

I am hitting around 9000-10000 a year. I dont commute, so this is business or pleasure only. Not too bad, but quite a bit of motorway miles so tyres dont last too long.

Only two of the half a dozen (or so) bikes I ride much in a year have speedometers, so no idea!

I've not been riding a year yet, but since October i'm averaging 1500miles per month.

So give or take a little, i'd say 16-18k by the time my first year is up.

9000 between MOTs on my bike. Pretty consistently each year.

Keeps the miles of my car, only done 3000 this year, barely running.

About 20k a year maybe a little less. It's spread between bikes though so it isn't too bad.

Hmmm... maybe 10.

Haven't even had the VTR MOT'd for the last 3 years. However, this year I'm all good to go. Although I don't suppose it be much as I've nowhere to go ! frown

I only tend to use the bike for commuting, when the contract is in a location that it makes sense. I'm looking for a new contract now so this year's mileage will depend largely on that.

However, the OH wants to try pillion, her helmet arrived this morning, so a few miles might get racked up taking her around.

But to where???

I did about 2000 miles on my CBR125, which I bought nearly a year ago, on the 2/7/2012.

I've done about 5000 miles on the ZXR400 I bought at the end of October, so i'm looking at about 8k miles in my first year of biking smile

I did around 15-16k last year. Much less this year as I'm not commuting anymore and the gf has moved in.

About 5k I reckon. 3.5k of that will be on the forthcoming Euro tour.

I've done around 4,000 since I got the bike in the middle of February. It's only 5 miles to and from work, so it's mostly for fun (my ride home can easily turn into a 20 mile detour!).

Depends... used to be around 16-18,000 a year ... then I bought the R1's and was trying to keep the mileage sensible on them and only use in Winter when the roads are dry / grit free... that brought the mileage down to around 10-12,000 miles a year.

Current R1 has done 5,000 miles in six months so I reckon about 8-10k this year ...

90% of it plodding between Manchester and Liverpool on the M62 frown

Beats me why I buy low mileage bikes!

Over the 2.5 years I've been riding it averages out at about 6000 per year.

My guess is the answer to that will probably involve some sort of shopping biggrin:
