A cyclist's guide to cars and their drivers
Discussion
To be honest I use the same rule of thumb when driving.
However I have to say as someone who drives mainly but has cycled from time to time... I've never understood either's perspective on the issue. Why cars hate cyclists is beyond me, as is the reverse (though I can appreciate the damage caused physically in a hypothetical scenario is almost always worse for the cyclist - therefore I suppose they have a cause to get irritated at incompetence).

pretty obviously said in jest
It'd be even more obvious if it was vaguely funny.Freddy88FM said:

Witnessed a cyclist go through a red light last night and nearly got knocked off his bike as a result. Caused innocent driver of the car to brake heavily. fHowever I have to say as someone who drives mainly but has cycled from time to time... I've never understood either's perspective on the issue. Very few cyclists I see stop for red lights, yet demand respect on the road. Is that reason enough?
....and dont get me started on the f

"You know them by their sound, which is something akin to a wet fart amplified through a speaker with a tear in it. 0-25mph in... oh, who cares, you're going to be queuing anyway."
Comment of the year.... I agree those red hot hatches are bloody dangerous to cyclists.....Oh hang on a minute i've errrr got one. And a bike.
And this guide is almost useless out of a city...
"Apparently there are still motoring programmes on television devoted to finding minute differences between these silver boxes. All cyclists need to know is that they're generally driven by cross people in a hurry"
..Brilliant
