Looks like the owner likes to cut his head hair short but let his beard grow ... Not trying to judge people here but to be able to afford one of these in a PAYE job you are managing director level or you have inherited the cash or independently wealthy family OR illegally gained funds.

Out of that list I'd say a wealthy family or a criminal wouldn't care whereas a PAYE certainly would.

Also it's in full warranty so not an issue if it breaks give it back to McLaren.

The bearded one was the Valet Parker, a McLaren owner would never wear strides like his.

Maybe its "just a car" as far as he's concerned.

Apart from being a different race...

I would hazard a guess if you have the money and can afford a car like that thats still in production then its not really an issue if it gets wrapped around a lamp post.

I followed him round the M25 yesterday on the way to the MB Sunday Service - thought he might have been heading there. I dropped back as he headed comfortably into 3 figures once the traffic eased.

I wonder whether valet parking gives some sort of time-stamped ticket/proof of time of arrival? If not, he may just have a get out of jail free card.

Seems suspicious to me. If you can afford that car you could afford a chauffeur to the airport or even park it locally in the short stay at astronomical cost.

Could the owner be waiting in the drop off zone to pick up someone and the type of car is getting him excluded from the drop off only rule. Or maybe the car won't get through the car park barrier or speed bumps.

I love this film and got it on cheap DVD to watch again. Star Wars theme music as the valet parkers are flying through the air, classic.

Maybe - I'm going a bit left field with this - the guy bought the McLaren to drive and to use as a daily driver. It's a great car but it's just a car

Did anyone see Watchdog last week? They had the Heathrow valet company on and had hidden cameras and trackers in three cars. The valet parkers were basically using the cars as company taxis and going home in them at the end of the day. Also they were speeding and sleeping in the fking cars!! aholes! There's no way I would ever leave my P+J with them, let alone a bloody McLaren.
