Hmm.

Just had a big melancholy moment here.

Was going to find a picture of Mark Lovells RS200 rolling on the 1986 Scottish (then have one of the winning Peugeot 205T16 driven by Mikael Sundstrom/Voitto Silander on the same event) when I realised Mark was killed, along with long time co driver Rodger Freeman, in 2003.
Then I remembered Mikael Sundstrom, who won the event, is also gone.

I was on the final stage when Sundstrom cruised the 205 up the hill, waving to everyone, to be followed by Lovell, blasting the RS uphill, sideways through the trees in an attempt to make up time.

Bugah.

Anyway, always a favourite, the first* and the best.
