LM24-stickered London black cab?

Was anyone on here in the black London taxi with LM24 stickers?
I was in the mandarin VX220 - we flashed each other on the way back to Calais on Sunday evening. Not sure if you saw my thumbs up.
Have to say, you looked super cool - and huge respect for that journey in a black cab! How long did it take?!

Yes that would have been me and School Boy!
Had a brainstorm on what we could take as it was first time going and ended up deciding on the cab! Looked into taking a V8 Range Rover or LDV Convoy but getting insurance at the age of 19 on anything big/ powerful is ridiculous. Cab was the easy choice as S already owned it. I didn't do any of the driving so sat in the back and enjoyed the ride.
It was great fun and made for a fantastic time in Le Mans. Attracted a lot of attention wherever we went, including people coming up to us on the track "Hey your the guy from the London taxi", and everyone from a restaurant coming outside to look at it at one point whilst driving past! We also exhibited the cab at the Classic British Welcome alongside all the supercars and classics, and again lots of people came and had a look! Also proved to be a good talking point with fellow campers at Bleu Nord (it was parked in the 1st tickets section under the green gazebo). The drive down was good even though its not the fastest vehicle in the world, got lots of honks and waves from everyone passing us!
Sadly though it didn't make it back to the UK. On the way back on Sunday evening whilst driving down the A28/ E402 near Rouen some French b
d in his worthless old Peugeot smashed into the back of us. Horrible accident instantly wrote off the cab with extensive damage to the rear, its a miracle neither of us where injured. The claimed he couldn't see us because of an eyesight problem 
. Currently sorting out the mess he left us in with the insurers.
PS - Its technically a Midnight Blue cab

We went on the 0730 Dover to Calais crossing, and arrived at Bleu Nord at about 6pm - so quite a long journey! We did stop a few times along the way though.
Hi, I was the driver. Thanks, the cab had a really good reception in Le Mans. At the Classic British Welcome we were only looking for the car park but followed the people in yellow jackets waiving at us and ended up on display! The funniest bit was some bloke who walked passed it when it was parked complaining that they let it in but not his damaged Evo or mates M5.
Unfortunately some French .... hit us up the backside on the way home and tried to carry on. I wad proud that the cab was damaged but it destroyed his 406. It was not that long after the OP came passed us. Have to praise the police. They were brilliant, sorted it all out and took us half an hour back to a hotel we wanted. Here it is now. Hopefully it will come back for spares. Never leave a man behind.

No it was defiantly us, I remember you coming past and gave you a flash on the lights, Sunday night. Had the yellow jackets on the left of the drive and the rear parcel shelf. My parents drove straight out to get us, you can see us loading up the car in the garage.

Stop - I'm nearly in tears! Hope you manage to breath life back into itI haven't heard of the British Welcome thingy (this was only my second time at Le Mans), and none of my group have ever mentioned it. What is it?

Its quite a large event held in Saint Saturnin the Friday before the race - http://www.classicbw.org/?ln=UKLots of cars on show and its sponsored by a different marque every year. One of the highlights of the trip, well worth a visit.

Or you could get one from one of the hundreds of Taxi only garages in London who would be a bit cheaper. I take ours to Cricklewood Carriers, good guys.
