I am surprised by this as i cannot remember seeing chinky being used on PH at all except to describe a meal in the dirty takeaway thread. If people have been using it in a derogatory way then i have missed it and completely understand you request, but if this is just preventative censure then i have to say i have certain issues with the 1984ish vibe those kind of actions bring and request that townie and bumpkin go into the censure pot as well.

i understand, it has definite negative connotations as too does , i personally do not agree with being censored as locally to me there is a big difference between the use of travellers, gypsies and s, however i accept that someone complained and PH must cover itself.

Just curious as to the reasons behind your request?
