Discussion
For those that bought the "Crivit Sport" Helmet from Lidl/Aldi take a little look at this.

Try to avoid impacting the side of your head if wearing one of these

lmfao. yeah, better than an arai. i heard colin edwards was binning off his arai contract and signing with aldi/lidl.
does anyone here actually beleive the sharp ratings, or are you all mindless sheep?
Are Lidl/Aldi going to pay Colin a shed load of money and give him loads of free helemts then?does anyone here actually beleive the sharp ratings, or are you all mindless sheep?
Damn! That'll mean the Lidl/Aldi helemts will have to have their prices inflated to massive levels to recoup all those costs!
Sharp = b
ks. If Rx-7 arais are only 3 star why aren't we seeing more racer head related fatalities.... Hmmm
I should point out I'm not a helmet snob. I currently use a lazer fiber d1 and used to have an Arai viper gt. Both lovely lids, I'd say the lazer is more comfortable

Could that possibly be because there is a difference between track accidents and road accidents? When was the last time you saw a racer catch is head on a 4" kerb or hit the side of a taxi that just did a u-turn on the track?

Let me put it this way, I wouldnt let sharp ratings influence my decision.
And that is totally your decision. I wouldn’t let the SHARP ratings ‘make my decision’ but I would take the results into consideration. Regardless how good or bad anyone may think the tests are they are the only independent, repeatable, controlled and comparative scientific tests undertaken on helmets beyond the basic minimum approval ratings. Using the information from those tests has to be better than judging with no additional information or simply using price or brand loyalty.
