What about Padstow for a Stein chippy....?
Then somewhere for a pint..???

I might try and grab a B+B so I can bring the TVR and have an ale..smile
Will look into it... problem with Padstow is parking - a bit of a mare, megabusy and bl00dy pigeons get everywhere - but will see what I can do.

What about Wadebridge...?

Where are you FA?
...where will Mrs F be...?

We do need more people....If we get a location we can whack something into SW Forum
I'm about 12 miles from Mrs F, inland. I could do a recce on Wadebridge or try somewhere like "Doc Martin" teritory. I could do a recce. Thing is, we are talking about this Sunday so I would need to book the table fairly prompto...

I am happy to go with the majority and don't forget it needs to be child-friendly'ish... and that's just for you Gorvid wink

Sunday does seem to be the best time, especially for Mrs F and in particular Little F... don't want to spoil her holiday by having and angry fish on her hands...

I was thinking maybe St Agnes or Crantock. Both have good food to suit all pockets.. St Agnes is a lovely village with parking for cars... also has B&Bs if required. Bars open all day plus also cove within easy walking distance should we spill over onto beach.

Gorvid... if people are happy to do this then it can go on SW Forum as there are a few in Cornwall and also, it being a Sunday, it may bring more people out for the day - especially if the sun is shining.

Let me know what the consensus is and I shall go for it.

Right Angel...

We need a good Pub in or around Padstow:

Dukebox ~ then I can stack it with shit.
Ale ~ not just fizzy lager pooh.
Baby Room ~ for fish miniature.....[and me:O]
Car Park ~ for TVR's
Beergarden ~ for the massive sunshine....

Not much to ask really hehe

Boscastle is worth a look at. The harbour is an easily accessible flat walk from the car park. The Witches Museum is a waste of money, and I don't think that the Pixie House has been rebuilt yet having been rendered the coup de grace by a motor caravan in the Great Flood, but its still worth a visit.

If you want to go to Tintagel Castle then ordibarily I'd recommend going upto the Church on the cliff and walking down to the landward side, but in your condition the land Rover would be a better bet.Still lots of steps though.

Trebarwith Strand is "only" the beach really.

Polzeath has a good pub on the hill on the Rock side of the beach. Good food, large patio and huge carpark for the TVR. Or if you fancy somewhere with less tourists and better views head just up past Boscastle to Crackington Haven, or Widemouth Bay. Great driving roads around there too, so put the wife and kids in the pub and go for a spin. No speed cameras and one focus TDI police car! Just head up the A39 from Wadebridge to get there. If you fancy a good lunch its possible to book Jamie Olivers 15 restuarant online and get a good lunch for £24. Port Issac, nice fishing village, where they film that Doc Martin thing with Martin Clunes. Also pick your own strawberrys around there. Just follow the coast route from Padstow and Polzeath and you will find lots of interesting places really, and enjoy the weather. Ph and the looks, not many TVR's down there, love taking mine through town in Bude.

Many thanks
