Anyone else concerned, see Yellow Fever's post about weather on the other CC thread

My mind is lying on a beach in the Maldives (at rest)

Was under the impression YellowFever had sorted that for us - we're supposed to be going in via the competitors entrance and parking opposite the pits?

YF - are you around - can you confirm please?

For the PH area, do we have to bring appropriate cars?

Due to the weather I don't think I'll be bringing the Tiv.

A few crossed wires here, I emailed CharlesTT in his capacity as an Audi TT Owners Club person, not realising he would turn up at random on PH smile

So to be clear, there is a set space for the PH group and a separate space for an Audi TT Club group if CharlesTT tells me he wants one (preferably by email Charles, or the on the mobile number in my email msg as I won't have time to check PH again today).

I'm talking to Combe this morning to confirm but you can suume that group/club parking will be on clean tarmac in the paddock.

The forecast tells me that Saturday will be very mild at 17-18C and that the day will dry as it goes on. With some wind forecast as well, that makes perfect track drying weather smile

I'm about 3 miles from Combe and it is pissing down right now but the rainfall radar indicates this should pass by about midday smile

Given that the weather is still dubious and we didn't charge the battery last night, I don't think the car will start, I am afraid to say we'll be passing on this one.

So yes, elusive GT4 remains elusive.

Just got back from an absolutely cracking morning, rain or not its was great fun!

Variety of cars was stunning, managed to get rides in:

Ferrari 355 F1 (Tim Walker's son)

Noble M12 (Deano from PH)

Ferrari 430 F1 (chap apparently drives a Mosler in GT racing)

Dodge Viper Supercharged -this machine was an absolute beast, and the driver, Nadine-who I believe is a PH member?, really knew how to get the best from it in the wet conditions

I'd like to thank the Stroke Association, Yellow Fever for bringing the event to our attention and especially all those drivers who gave up their time to put their pride and joy out on track for such a very worthy cause

Yellow - between now and next year I'm going to get some track time at CC in and then offer up my services for rides

Guys n Gals - get saving for next year, I couldve burnt a lot of cash there today, and all in a great cause!

Just back from the office at 6.30pm - not exactly how I intended on spending my Saturday frown

Just saw your pics...would have loved some rides in those cars - guess I'll see you there next year then! thumbup

Anyone know what caused the red flag in the morning?

What did everyone go out in?

I went out with Deano in the Noble first. That was quite brutally fast. If you read this, cheers! Also, did you find out what was causing that noise?

Then while I was talking to Deano about his Noble, Rachel parked up next to him in her Caterham and convinced me to go out in the R400. Definitely can't fault the woman's enthusiasm! Or driving!

Then went out in the Radical. Everyone was saying how quick Rachel Davies was in her Radical, so I thought I'd go out in that last. Had the ride cut short because it started raining slightly and she was on slicks, but from the 2 or 3 laps I did have, well, those things are absolutely amazing.

Was a really good day out! Will definitely be there again next year, but will drag along everyone I know!

Big thanks to Yellow Fever for inviting me along to volunteer, otherwise I would have probably missed this!

Hopefully it raised plenty of money for the Strike Association?
