It's worth pointing out that the top 3 qualifiers at the European Finals this year were all quicker than the bump spot in that field, and Peter Schöfer was only 0.001s outside. It's a sign of just how healthy the class has become in Europe in the past few years.

Yes, and the #1 qualifier was still a tenth and a half quicker than the best runs we've seen in Europe. But still, TMD is doing very well for itself in Europe right now.

I wonder what those people who moaned about our coverage in Sweden thought about the delays in the DRC updates over the weekend

The European TF effort at Pomona was in truth very disapointing only Urs qualified and he got knocked out in the first round, neither Lex Joon nor Thomas Naatas managed a decent run over the whole weekend. Urs has qualified in most of the events he entered this year but I don't think he has won a round of eliminations yet, it's a pity as some proper international competition would spice things up a bit.I suspect the vastly greater number of runs they do over there and the professional set ups means that they tend to be much more consistent particularly in TF where most of the entrants are part of big well funded super teams.
