Hi Folks,

I have been meaning to join Pistonheads for a while, i actually thought i had an old forum membership but could not remember what it was for the life of me, so signed up again.

I took delivery of my GTR a few months ago and took it on track for the first time last weekend, i could have picked better weather..........

I had a cracking weekend, Saturday at Knockhill and Sunday at Crail.

Managed to do a few videos, i hope you all enjoy them.

Do me a huge favour and rate them in You Tube and feel free to leave comments.

Regards

ScottyB

2 in car videos kindly taken by Andy, no grip what so ever what you can't see sadly is the huge amounts of opposite lock being applied on a regular basis to keep the thing out of the kitty litter, baby throttle due to the weather. Can't wait until i get some dry lpas in....

Great in the dry which it has been set up for but still a handful in the wet which is to be expected........

Does that mean that the new Whiteline set-up works with the new rear anti roll bar?

I was there admiring your car in the pits everytime it was stationary. The noise it made was unbelievable. I was in the Silver Evo IX. I was going to chance my luck and ask for a pax lap or 2 but I thought it would be a bit cheeky. What a car though cloud9

It certainly does Cloggie,

Graeme and the guys at Whiteline had the car for weeks carrying out loads of R&D on the car.

There were 2 issues:

1 - Understeer
2 - "Fishtailing" under acceleration

Both of these have been cured and they are confident that they can improve things further.

Just for info the standard ARB on the car was only 14mm and as thin as 10mm in places as designed weak points, not great for a 1700+ kg car

You could flex it with your bare hands when we swapped it out!

I had a bigger standard ARB on my RB320!!!

I may well pop along as I am down in that area for the weekend. If I am there I will come over and introduce myself.

Cheers,
Jamie
