I like how the cynics have to keep climbing up levels. First it's "one rule for us" etc and "she'll get away with it". But when she gets reported the cynicism becomes absurd.
Let's hold our breath until she's actually convicted shall we biggrin

As she denies the charges, does that mean that when convicted she is a proven liar and can therefore be removed from public office?
You don't make your plea under oath.

I'm quite surprised that Harriet Harman keeps turning up for these TV and radio appearances. Every time she's there, she knows she'll be faced with yet more uncomfortable questions.

She's either very brave, doesn't care or simply believes she's done nothing wrong.

Aaaagh! Now that you've said that, I can't see them any other way! rofl
And what appears at first to be her upper gum is in fact her tongue.

hehe that's worth another listen on the iplayer. She didn't shut up for the first half of the programme, then someone asked "Do the panellists think that all MPs should be given handsfree phone kits as part of the job?" She shut up a bit after that. hehe

If you want a giggle, listen to last weeks. Veteran journalist describes Winky as a "Wounded Cyclops", when asked if it was metaphorical or if he meant the cyclops bit literally he came back with "but it's true". hehe

The question I would love to pose to the panel,

Do you think that people in public office who are found guilty of traffic or similar offenses, that can endanger life, are fit to hold public office?
Needing to hold an ADI badge to do my job I would loose my livelihood if I were to get just 6 points. I don't personaly think it unreasonable to apply the same rules to others who's integrity would be brought into question should they acumulate the same.

...but since when did politics have anything to do with integrity!

By dissolving the remains in 18M sulphuric acid. No precipitate = not a witch.

I suggest that simply viewing the rather "toothy" pic of her posted earlier would confirm that easily enough...

Caught the re-run of her Radio 4 performance today.

Discussing the appointment of EU president and that British woman sidekick of his, the question was would Blair have been a better president?

All Harriet Hardman wanted to say was she's pleased a WOMAN got the job...

Somebody gag her, before my blood pressure pops....
