Only place you'll (probably) be able to get tickets for the Man City game now is via touts.

I was offered some this morning at £120 each!!

...thank God I got mine at face value in the members sale!!

Or one of the regular members of Bobby Wilcox tours should be able to get you tickets.

First goal was needed to get things going. 2 - 2 fair result?

Still think if Tevez had started and Hughes' strategy was less defensive we'd have done you.

Stevie Ireland's goal was a beauty, Tevez's shouldn't have got anywhere near the ball in the corner, let alone win it and provide a blinder of a pass to SWP who's sublime touch let Ireland in for a tap-in.

Hope Agger is ok as the clash looked nasty. Shame Babble is such a soft arse.

Good honest game though, unlike when the red sh!te from Salford play.

Hope Benitez turns things around for you guys, he's a decent sort and anyone who can wind up FookfaceFergie as he can is all right by me. wink

No.

Benayoun came on as a sub today and was then subbed himself for Aurelio.

Sorry, my bad. Goal generator Im afraid.

It was 1-0 to us, I watched for a minute, the commentator said "Bellamy must do a lot better with this corner than his previous effort..." and 5 secs later EA was nodding it in the net.

Does anybody else see a connection with injuries and the arrival of Sammy Lee ? Last time he was with Liverpool, we had the same problem with all the team being injured. Coincidence ? or just that his training regime is flawed.... again !

He'll have said something wrong to The Messiah, and that's it now. Off to Lazio in January for 2 million quid.

hoping to see him on the pitch for a decent amount of time tonight - possibly even a start!

let's hope we put in a good performance today, it seems like a year since we last had a good result!

He is on the bench, Johnson + Agger start

Can see why tbh, not wise having him & Gerrard playing if they are both not match fit !

really i thought gerard had recovered from his injury and that he was just lacking a bit of match fitness - so a start today should help matters...

go placenta go!

It does seem odd, no? He's only played 10 minutes. Is he protecting him?
