I think I struck lucky. For the past 20 years, not only have I been allowed to play what I want, when I want and for how ever long I want (including 4 day lan events in the past), but I also get cups of tea etc brought in to me at regular intervals! thumbup

She even popped into GAME and picked me up an Elite a while ago, making sure it was the 'Jasper' system by getting them to remove it from the box and check the power socket etc.Good girl!!

Yeah and she is an underwear model, a member of Mensa, loyal and has a huge sex drive. I think I saw her fly past your house on her unicorn.

Unfortunate turn of phrase! biggrin

Back on topic, I think I'm the same as most on here. Was pretty awesome at Pro Evolution Soccer during an extended dry spell a few years back, however now when the PS2 gets turned on it's very rarely and mostly for lady-friendly things like Guitar Hero or Lego Indiana Jones.

Hoping that getting a Wii for us for Christmas will get more gametime, but realistically I think it's more likely to be used for Wii Fit, with the occasional bout of COD or RE4 only during spells of insomnia!

My gf read this and said "I'd hate it if you were like that". She is clearly dellusional as she brings me dinner whilst i play each evening and then is kind enough to leave me alone to play.

I even get 'gaming dinners'.You know, ones you can eat and still play, like cut up toasted sandwiches.

Been living with OH 1.5 years. Most of my gaming time is after she goes to sleep in the evenings or on weekends when she is busy filing her face or trying on magazines or whatever woman do.

The trick is making every dinner into a gaming dinner....

generally they start as normal dinners and end up the same... just cold.

Just read this thread out to my O/H, particularly the cut up sandwiches bit, she crossed her arms, gave me 'that' look and said 'dream on', doesn't bode well for when we move in together!! frown

Happily married. That said, the PS3 is for when my wife is out, and I've nothing better to do. Nothing more than a cheap method of filling time.

Occasionally she'll have a little blast on a lady-friendly title.

Haha, well obviously you haven't got the 'art' perfected like Digby. The next stage is to get the OH to feed you your dinner whilst playing. God help her if she gets spaghetti hoop sauce on the mic whilst you're playing COD on xbox live though.
