Nice to know you still read these pages Simon!

You must be thrilled that GM decided to do the right thing with Vauxhall in the end. Fingers crossed for some big things ahead.

Greg

Yes he is - and loving every moment of New GM life!

Great to hear that Lee's up and running again and that the press are right there behind him.

Spoke to him recently and I could tell by the glint in his eye that he's on to something really big with this new car.

Let's face it all the right ingredients are there: Noble-designed chassis/body, powerful and (I'd presume) durable V8, in-line drivetrain with Graziano 'box etc. etc....

Can't wait to see the first pics!

Hi Simon,

Glad to hear you put Bentley behind you. Not the 'easiest' of clients I've ever dealt with!

Interesting interview.....

I went up to see the new car quite a while ago now, and we chatted till the early hours about the new car, the old cars, racing and how he still can't make a good cup of tea (I had a coffee, which wasn't bad!).

I think the key difference between what he's doing now and what came before, is that the car follows very simple engineering principals which are still serving the Ultima to this day.
But just moving the whole thing along.

The look of the car is awesome, if you saw it in your mirrors, you'd get out the way, no matter what you were driving.
And for those of you over 6 foot you'll fit, I'm 6 ft 4 and I was comfortable.

Lee I think has realised that loosing touch with the customer was his ultimate downfall, and I know he wont make that mistake again.

Ask it here and I'm sure one of us will ask him when we next see him.

It's my wallpaper. And that's saying something for me....

You can ask me, and I'll be happy to pass along questions.

I can answer the question now, but I've been asked not to say anything until I get the ok.

Makes the M600 look rather rubbish, wouldn't you agree ?

God I can't wait to get this new car, I'm almost as excited as I was when I first saw the M12. :-)

Lol...yeah I know what you mean. So many people seem to hang onto and beieve the words of a few a people - it's like a new religion confused. Personally I am a realist and like to form my own opinions based upon facts that I can see and experience rather than rumour, press comment and articles.

Yeah, it's my wallpaper too....And I've a picture of it in my wallet so I can stare at it longingly in quiet moments at work. My MP3 player has a loop of it that plays gently all night. It's the only way I can get to sleep now! I did have a dream where bits fell off it, but woke up and looked on the forums, and the soothing internet words calmed me down again.

We've all got secrets. The difference between adults and children is that one lot keep quiet and the other go round saying 'ner, ner ner ner, ner, I've got a secret'.

Let's see what it's like when it's actually done. You never know we all might like it!

Aren't we being a bit harsh here?! He made a car that I could afford and that I love.
That's good enough for me.

We all agree with that. But if I knew all about a new car, let you know I did, then went around saying how much I'm not going to tell you about it what would you say?

I'd say that it's got everyone talking about it!

rolleyes Sure everyone appreciates the lesson there. Maybe just let people get on with being excited about something new and interesting - what is childish about that?
