A Chimaera 500, TVR made less of these (only 600) and originally were the same price as the Griffith 500.
When attractive girls were surveyed, they couldn't tell the differance between a Griffith and an MX5.
The Chimaera however was reported as as being the real knicker dropper due to its muscular bulges!

If you need to rely on your car to get laid, you really are well and truely f
ked.

Actually both Griffs and Chims look like MX5s when driving towards you...

I went from a Chimaera to a Tuscan Convertible.
The Mk 2 chassis is apparently much more forgiving than the Mk 1 although i've never driven an early one. The speed 6 is totally addictive and IMHO the Tuscan 2 convertible is a great step from the Griffith / Chimaera. The Tuscan 2 s could be considered as a modern Griffith in character, with the 'touring' non-S spec 4.0l (like mine) being nicely complient on most roads whilst still being bloody quick..

What would you know about driving quick? The Mk 2 chassis is apparently much more forgiving than the Mk 1 although i've never driven an early one.
