bks! Sunday morning here and its pissing down, no road ride for me.
Supercross last night was brilliant, I will be altering my kids dirt bike track so they can get more 'air' today!

I know it is going to be wet tomorrow but I am getting such withdrawal symptoms from not riding that I HAVE to go out tomorrow laugh

I am not an addict! Weird I know but I get restless if I don't get 100 miles a week under my belt rotate

Given the appaling weather this weekend so far, it looks like yet again it will be a non-bikey weekend for me. By this Tuesday, I won't have riddden the motorbike for two weeks which is way too long in my opinion. I'll be lucky if I get out on the road bike or hybrid tomorrow(pedal powered).

I have just got back from discovering JUST how wet and JUST how muddy it is possible to get and still have an WR-sized grin on your face!

Mind you, I could have done without the the big brambly branch which somehow managed to find the gap between my goggles and my chin bar and slice a lump out of the underside of my nose yikes Feck, that hurt!

Got out and done a couple of hours in the saddle this afternoon.Seen a few spots of rain but nothing much at all really.Roads were drying out quite nicely on the way home.Stuck my waterproofs on before leaving just in case but they weren't needed.Had I not bothered, then no doubt it would of lashed down .

This weekend has been some of the most miserable weather I've ever been riding in.
Not been affected by the floods oop north, but there've been road closures all the same. A10 last night was partly closed, and I got water up to my knees as I rode through standing water that sprayed everywhere. It's all very well having goretex boots, but they're sod all use if you take a bath frown
Kit unlikely to dry before tomorrow's commute, so boo.

I rode a Yamaha 700 Raptor quad for the first time yesterday, its mental! Ground was a bit damp and the tyres didnt have much tread left so it was just drifting everywhere.

Seen on the bog wall at the Crow's Nest caravan park, Filey, 1975...

Some come here to sit and think
Some come here to sh!t and stink
I come here to scratch my b*lls
And read the writing on the walls
