here`s an old dyno graph to show the comparison between cat and decat,when testing my decat pipe at Joolzs a few years ago, with Spend and Pasco eating all of the pizzahehe



this is with the precats aleady removed,I hadn`t had the griff long, so it was all bog standard.
we found that you gain 6-8bhp on removing the pre cats and 5-8bhp on removing the main cat.Although the results seem fairly small on the dyno, to drive the car always felt so much more responsive without the cats,and if you enjoy a noisy v8 then its a good route to take.
the standard manifolds are good for 350bhp, this was proved on Pasco`s griff when running one of my decat pipes, I played around with equal length linked primaries, which looked like a few trombones stuffed under the bonnet, gains of 25hp plus recorded on four different cars, probably the best sounding car I ever hadyeshehe

That gain was obviously only due to the extra back pressure created by your st awful welds Cliff winkhehe

..and don't be so flippin silly! you know I'm not dumb enough to put my hand anywhere near a pizza when Tubbs is within 10 miles yikes
