4 people apparently.

The interview on sky news was rather enlightening.

Kay Burley: What is the colliery used for.
Rescuer: It's a coal mine.

That's about 4.1 miles away from my house, never knew there was an active mine nearby.
I can pop up later and tell the reporter to sort her act out if you like?, better still I'll do the reporting biggrin

Hope they are rescued safe & sound. I wonder if they will get free hospitality at Man Yoo?

You'll see a golden glow shortly as socialists arrive at your home armed with burning pitchforks, whistles and irritating slogans hehe

Here's hoping they will be OK and get to see the Welsh boys chalk up a few wins in the RWC.

Yeah, seems it's flooded.

Here's hoping they managed to find somewhere to escape it frown

That's bad news. How long would it take to dig a tunnel into Wales?

If the tunnels are stable but flooded couldn't the rescuers just send in some divers? Haven't seen any information about the water levels etc. (?) Anyone know what the rescue plan might be?

Pumping out the water currently - but who knows where they are - or whether they managed to find safety down there. All four are experienced guys apparently - although whether that counts for much as water is chasing you along a seam fk knows.

Here's hoping they're okay.

They tried sending divers in, but the visibility was zero so they are going to pump out as much as they can before trying again.
