Even after it's nerf, it seems to be quite a force on the battlefield. Heavies dinging off it left right and center. Fairly reasonable gun. Good pace. Not about to say it is OP as I frequently ruin them in my Pershing, but I can see why people have them. First try in it? 70k credits.
Main reason I got it is just to buy bits for other tanks, I'd hate to reccomend it but for that purpose? Great.

Please tell me the weaknesses? I'm right fked of with packs of them hunting across the battlefield. 2 games last night someone messaged "All Types left" and off they went. Don't know if it was the same player.

I hate those frigging things with a passion, I had two instances last night where the opposing team had seven or eight of the damn things.

I had no idea they were selling them again

Weakness thats easy - just aim for the general vecinity of the road wheels, the lower tub seems to be generally quite weak, even my E8 could blast holes in them. Best thing to do if there are lots of them is try and track them, once they lose their speed they are quite vulnerable (much like many medium tanks). They also dont seem to like 155mm HE shells from my M41 either :lol:

There should be a limit of how many types of an individual vehicle can be on each team, say a maximum of 3.

The right side of the hull and the back of the turret will ammo rack them. The right had side is easiest to hit though. I think from the front if you aim at the light you can also do it.

I wouldn't mind trying out, depending how much it is, as I could do with something that makes good money and XP, Lord knows I need it, but I thought it was taken out of the game?

They were removed from the shop but not from the game. I just wondered if they were selling them again due to the sudden resurgence of the Type 59?

Oh yeah, I know they can still but used if you own one, I've been destroyed by enough of them .

You can't buy them in game, but they were selling them n the gift shop recently. I don't know if they still are, but it's probably the reason why there has been a resurgence of them on the battlefield just lately.

i had a Type 59 and hated the damn thing and seem to earn better credits with the T34

They have stopped selling them in the gift shop now. It was a limited time offer thing. It's a pity Wargaming didn't fix the damned match maker before introducing more of them into the game. Type 59's are only OP when they get stacked by the MM. Which happens far too frequently. Its almost impossible to form a defense against that in random battles unless you are in a platoon.

I'm only tier 3 at the minute, have to say I'm enjoying artillery more than tanks, gonna continue moving up the ladder with the SPG's for a while.

Have to say I'm back to hating this game, as soon as get in tier 4 TD get stuck in battles against multiple IS, KV-* etc etc etc.

Can't do any damage, get slotted instantly anyone gets in sight, only way to do anything is run and hide and hope for a lucky break on another minnow bumbling by, boooooorrrriiiiinnnnggggg!

Traded up my hellcat for a T25/2. Not once has the bloody T25 caused a single % of damage, it is truly shocking how bad it is.

I've not bothered with the 25/2 yet, as it doesn't get the 105mm gun that makes the T25 worthwhile. I suspected it would be a bit crap.

Has anyone got any of these skills ? Eagle Eye, Armourer or Snap Shot ? Contemplating having them instead of full cammo on a heavy. I already have Sixth Sense and Dead Eye.

I should have added to that, that I won't get very far if every time I play I'm getting dicked by tanks at the base because the people I'm playing with are un organised buffoons and are allowing them to stroll on in.

Not got any of those but in my view I wouldn't bother with camo on a heavy. They're too large and innate camo values are very low anyway, and they tend to be at the front in any case.

I would have thought the other skills make more sense (repairs being at the top of the list for me)

I already have full repairs and skills like sixth sense etc with this crew. I've played a few times against tanks that just seem to disappear...even heavies so I assume that is full cammo. Obviously that only comes into play on certain maps though.
