7.5m for a Gerogian mansion on 200 acres 10km from Dublin sounds pretty decent value to me.

The guide price of €7.5m is around a fifth of what Manor Park Homes paid (€45m) for the estate in 2003.

'Tis the 'buggeration of what, possibly, was once a nice house - less is more in this instance. IMO.

ETA: I'm being picky, aren't I. hehe

The ceilings are indeed awful but looking past that I'd love a house with a winter room, huge log fire and a warming glass of something nice.

I does remind me of the shining though hehe

More to the point, how does any house have so little class?

A sad case of something that could have been - should have been - so very much better.

look at the size of the rooms... 4 poster bed and several chairs and its still 20ft to the wall... then the dressing room is even bigger!!

Certainly not to my taste and didn't expect to find something like this in SN8.

Can anyone identify the two cars on the drive in street view?

They look like old Merc limos or possibly rover by the boxy shape?

Agree about the ceilings.

Love the rest of the house though and the view.

Very nice location, I lived down the road from Bridgenorth near ironbridge. Nice area, if a little too close to wolverhampton smile
