Ahahahahahah!

If you want to drive something like this you should just join the army and be done with it:

That way they pay you as well, rather than vice versa thumbup

Don't understand why you wouldn't keep £20k in your pocket and just buy a Disco4, which can do all the same stuff more comfortably.

It's more a question of "why not"

Disco's are 10 a penny

I'm afraid nothing is, DA, except another Zulu! Those extolling the virtues of underpowered urban toys should put 'Defender Zulu' in Google and follow a few links :-)

As the others have mentioned there have been others taking the GM Chevy V8 and sticking it into the Range Rover for years - Overfinch. Now they make drinks cabinets.
This Disco is not really floating my boat and as the others have mentioned these small companies sticking mustard up the arses of Land Rover Discoverys do seem a bit bloke in shed like with the overall package.
This is more well thought out and much better executed
here as they take an old design 4x4 but with all a level of detail and geek that people appreciate.

But what the quality video illustrates is that much like the Halfords Steering wheel on the Zulu Landie it's still a bit st.

"Very very genuine" - Not with that dashboard it isnt. Someone has put a lot of work into making that fascia panel but that is not a standard factory fit, it should be an open tray dash.

Also, that bulkhead looks like it is missing the thick top rail:

It is a weird one that, what's that panel made of? Looks like a professional job.

I think you will find that the panel is there to incorperate the after market air con. These were fitted on Defenders and 110/90,s by a company called davia.

OMG what a heap!

Take arguably the best OFF roader there is (in its class)
and bugger up everything that makes that so by lowering
and fitting rubber band tires what an overpriced pile
off dung.

if you want an off roader buy a defender or a CJ Jeep

if you want toys, soft seats and a posh stereo
buy a Range Rover a grand Cherokee or one of the multitude
of soft roaders out there simple

Sorry, here's the link to the car on PH Classifieds: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3915006.htm

Notice its not actually being advertised by Prindiville? eek

Some of you must have seen this car at the Pistonheads show? I have, and it is beautiful!

For nothing more than a set of all terrain tyres, I bet it'll go pretty much anywhere any other Defender will, but with none of the harshness that comes with the factory model. If your job is towing trailers around the country, I think this would make an awesome office!

That's a real off road toy! Could you imagine a 6.0L 485HP Corvette V8 in a Defender? silly Tomcat are not too far down the road from me, so might be worth a visit. Anything is possible with a Defender!
